Our client is a fast-growing European technology company operating in the e-commerce ecosystem, currently looking for a Head of Partnerships โ a strategic and execution-focused leader who will build and scale a mature, KPI-driven partner ecosystem across Europe, with a strong emphasis on implementation partners, open-source models, and technological alliances.
๐ธ The Ideal Candidate ๐ธ
Weโre looking for a senior professional with a proven track record in building and scaling partner ecosystems in tech environments (SaaS, e-commerce, open source, or developer tools). This person is both strategic and hands-on, with the ability to create structured, tiered partner programs, define and drive KPIs, and manage complex relationships with implementation and technology partners. Experience in open-source models and comfort engaging in C-level conversations with partners is key.
๐ธ Key Responsibilities ๐ธ
Partner Strategy & Program Development
- Design and launch a structured partner program (e.g., Silver/Gold tiers), with clear entry criteria, KPIs, benefits, and upgrade paths.
- Define KPIs per partner and per tier (e.g., number of implementations, active merchants, revenue influence, retention, NPS/CSAT, certifications).
- Build partnership governance: communication frameworks, QBRs, partner councils, growth plans.
Implementation Partners & Integrators
- Map and segment current and potential partners by value and geography.
- Lead onboarding, training, certification, and ongoing partner enablement.
- Raise quality standards through best practices, shared case studies, and partner success initiatives.
Technology Alliances
- Develop partnerships with key ecosystem players: payments, logistics, marketing tools, integrations.
- Build and optimize revenue-sharing models and commercial terms.
Cross-functional Collaboration
- Act as the voice of partners to product/tech teams โ contributing to API/integration documentation, roadmap planning, and overall partner experience.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales on joint campaigns, lead sharing, co-marketing, and partner events.
Team Building & Scaling
- Build and lead the partnerships team, covering regional partner roles and program/ops.
- Plan future division of responsibilities across:
- Product & technology enablement
- Channel/alliances partnerships
- Business lines (Shoper, PrestaShop, Sylius)

- 7+ years of experience in partnerships or ecosystem roles in a tech company (SaaS, e-commerce, open source, developer tools)
- Strong track record of building partner programs with clear KPIs and measurable impact
- Experience working with implementation partners/integrators and technology alliances
- Strategic thinker with hands-on execution skills
- Fluent in working with open-source models and communities
- Ability to engage confidently with C-level stakeholders
- Fluent English; additional European languages are a plus
