This is a remote, customer-facing role focused on driving new business development and account growth within the beverage sector. The Account Manager will lead customer engagement across carbonated, functional, energy, alcoholic, and dairy beverage categories, offering cutting-edge flavor and extraction solutions to both emerging and established CPG brands.
In this role, you will:
- Build and manage strategic customer relationships to drive growth within the beverage category
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to meet and exceed annual revenue goals
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including flavor creation, applications, marketing, and regulatory, to deliver tailored flavor solutions
- Translate customer insights and project briefs into actionable development requests
- Coordinate cross-functional execution to ensure high service levels and strong project outcomes
- Stay informed on beverage market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to identify new opportunities
- Maintain accurate forecasts, reports, and CRM data to support sales strategy and visibility
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Food Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in the flavor or ingredient industry, preferably in beverages
- Proven track record of driving sales growth and developing key customer relationships
- Strong technical understanding of flavor systems and beverage formulation
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Experience with CRM tools and sales reporting systems
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Willingness to travel up to 50%
