Compensation: $35-42/hr (negotiable)

 

Location: Seattle, WA. Employees must be able to come onsite daily.

What you'll do:

The Facility Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for the repair and preventative maintenance for the facility and equipment. This includes the repair/maintenance of forklifts, scissor lifts, aerial boom lifts, building ventilation and HVAC systems, trade equipment, plumbing, etc.



What you need to succeed:

To succeed, you will be eager to grow and learn, have a great attitude, and be able to pay close attention to detail.

  • 3+ years as a mechanic, working on various mechanical systems
  • Auto and equipment rental mechanics are highly encouraged to apply.
  • Stand/walk for 8+ hours per day
  • Frequent use of stairs, ramps, ladders and stools
  • Lift and carry up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
  • Occasional periods of overhead work 
  • Bend, kneel and crawl on a regular basis
  • Wear necessary personal protection equipment including respiratory protection equipment, safety glasses/goggles, rubber gloves, coveralls, hearing protection, fall protection, etc.
  • Clear vision (with or without corrective lenses)
  • Hearing as needed to recognize alarms
