About the Role

We are seeking a National Accounts Sales Representative to focus on developing new distributor partnerships and expanding existing relationships. This is a highly outbound, new business-focused role with national reach.

You will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and converting distributor accounts—often displacing incumbent vendors—while working closely with internal teams who support post-sale account management.

This is not a maintenance or account management role. Success in this position is driven by activity, persistence, and the ability to close new business.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Identify and target new distributor partners across the U.S.
  • Proactively prospect through cold calling, outbound outreach, and lead generation tools
  • Navigate complex organizations to connect with key decision-makers and influencers
  • Develop and present compelling value propositions to win new business from competitors
  • Build and manage a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities
  • Drive the full sales cycle from initial outreach through close
  • Collaborate with internal customer service and operations teams to ensure a smooth handoff after the sale
  • Conduct occasional in-person meetings and travel to key accounts as needed
  • Continuously evaluate account potential and prioritize high-value opportunities

  • Effectively converting prospects from existing vendors
  • Managing time efficiently with a strong focus on revenue-generating activities
  • Demonstrating strong closing ability and competitive drive

What We’re Looking For

  • 5–10+ years of B2B sales experience, with a strong focus on new business development
  • Proven success in a hunter-style sales role (high outbound activity, cold calling, prospecting)
  • Experience selling into distributors, channel partners, or similar environments is highly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to win business from competitors
  • Strong communication, objection handling, and closing skills
  • Highly self-motivated with excellent time management
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment

What We’re NOT Looking For

  • Account managers focused primarily on relationship maintenance
  • Low-activity or inbound-only sales backgrounds
  • Candidates who prefer servicing existing business over generating new opportunities

Compensation & Details

  • Base Salary: $90,000 – $120,000
  • On-Target Earnings: $150,000 – $180,000+
  • Travel: Approximately 40–50% (national)
  • Location: Must be based in Western Washington (greater Seattle area)
