Location: Seattle, WA. This position is 100% onsite, 5 days a week. Work schedule is Monday through Friday 5:30 A.M. – 2:00 P.M.
Position Summary
The Production Control Manager works in close coordination with the leadership team to plan, schedule, and manage production operations. This role is critical in supporting digital transformation efforts aimed at enhancing production efficiency, resource utilization, and supply chain responsiveness.

Key Duties:
Planning
- Develop and manage Bills of Material (BOM) and routing instructions for each Work Order.
- Leverage digital tools to streamline production planning and ensure accuracy.
- Release complete work packages to the production floor.
Scheduling
- Sequence and manage Work Orders to maintain an efficient production pipeline.
- Collaborate with operations leadership to ensure alignment with production goals.
- Implement and maintain digital scheduling solutions to improve visibility and flow.
Resource Utilization
- Strategically assign personnel to meet deadlines and optimize output.
- Support employee development by considering skills, interests, and goals.
- Use digital platforms to monitor productivity and performance metrics.
Procurement
- Process purchase requisitions for both direct materials and operational needs.
- Source from dependable, high-quality vendors.
- Use procurement software to manage supplier relationships and streamline purchasing.
Inventory Control
- Oversee inventory of raw materials and finished goods.
- Conduct regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Drive the implementation of digital inventory systems to boost reliability.
Additional Responsibilities
- Handle the movement of materials within and outside production areas to support workflows and shipments.
- Contribute to digital transformation initiatives by adopting tools that enhance operations.
- Track work-in-progress and update material status using digital systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve material-related issues to maintain inventory integrity.
- Liaise across departments to prioritize tasks and mitigate production delays.
- Work independently with minimal supervision and provide mentorship to junior team members.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations, including hazardous materials handling.
- Read and interpret technical diagrams and schematics.
- Operate basic equipment such as pallet jacks, lift gates, and material handling tools.
Qualifications
- Ability to read engineering drawings and understand work instructions.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Hands-on experience with tools and power equipment.
- Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs and comply with safety footwear requirements.
- At least 3 years of experience in a production coordination or control role.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Comfortable with computers and learning new software platforms.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
- Strong problem-solving skills and accountability mindset.
