This individual will play a key role in increasing market share through a combination of direct sales, distributor relationships, and partner engagement strategies. Compensation: $100,000 to $125,000 salary plus bonus. Year One OTE will be $150,000-$200,000

Location: 100% remote in New England/New York Region (Must reside within territory) and be willing to travel up to 50%


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute regional sales plans to support product growth within the municipal sector.
  • Engage with utility authorities, engineers, channel partners, and installers through training sessions, product presentations, and industry events.
  • Manage distributor accounts and identify new opportunities for partnership and distribution expansion.
  • Work with manufacturers' representatives to optimize regional market coverage.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of sales activity and customer interactions using CRM software.
  • Navigate the municipal approval process to secure product acceptance by local governments and utilities.
  • Collaborate with product development teams by sharing market insights and customer feedback.


Required Skills and Experience:

  • At least 2 years of outside sales experience in utilities, waterworks, or construction-related fields; inside sales experience with distributors or manufacturers will also be considered.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
  • Solid technical understanding and the ability to effectively convey product advantages.
  • Self-starter with a strong sense of initiative and teamwork.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience accepted.
  • CRM proficiency required; experience with Salesforce is a plus.
  • Must be willing to travel regularly throughout a multi-state territory.
