Rainier Recruiting is partnering with a well known medical device manufacturer who is seeking a Service Technician.This role provides vital support to a product evaluation and servicing team, focusing on processing and refurbishing returned electronic medical equipment. The technician will ensure equipment is accurately received, evaluated, updated, and prepared for reuse while maintaining a clean and compliant work environment. Compensation & Benefits:

  • Hourly pay $25.00- $30.00 hourly plus overtime and bonus potential (negotiable).

Location: 100% onsite in Redmond, WA.


Key Responsibilities

  • Unpack and sanitize returned medical devices and accessories using approved disinfectant wipes
  • Match incoming returns to corresponding return authorizations (RMAs) and log them into inventory
  • Assess returned products based on reported issues, document findings, and resolve or escalate issues as needed
  • Troubleshoot technical problems with products and components, collaborating with engineering teams to identify root causes
  • Follow established procedures for inspecting, repairing, refurbishing, and updating medical equipment
  • Recommend and help develop process improvements for efficiency and procedural accuracy
  • Apply software and firmware updates during the refurbishment process
  • Coordinate with customer service and logistics teams to fulfill orders for service parts and refurbished equipment
  • Support quality assurance efforts through accurate data collection and reporting
  • Perform inventory transactions to manage the flow of serviced equipment and parts
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized workspace
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned by leadership

Work Environment

This position is based in a service and light manufacturing setting. The environment includes moderate noise levels, cooler room temperatures, and requires frequent movement.


Required Qualifications and Skills

  • High school diploma or completion of a technical/trade program
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an electronics assembly, repair, or service role
  • Basic understanding of electronics or medical device servicing
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities for electronic systems
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English, including the ability to document technical evaluations clearly
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Workspace applications
  • Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred)
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage tasks effectively
  • Familiarity with regulatory guidelines including FDA and HIPAA compliance
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 30 pounds
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, team-oriented work setting
  • Positive, adaptable attitude and eagerness to learn
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality
  • Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently
