Rainier Recruiting is partnering with a well known medical device manufacturer who is seeking an Assembly Technician. This role suited for someone who enjoys working in a close-knit environment, thrives on detail, and follows through on commitments.

Location: 100% onsite in Redmond, WA.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and test transducer subassemblies, applying sound judgment to resolve issues and recommend improvements.
- Focus on producing array assemblies during Stackbond, testing, and Lensing stages, ensuring each step meets inspection and quality requirements.
- Measure, mix, and dispense materials such as epoxies, fillers, and silicones using precision equipment.
- Record and track data in electronic device history systems.
- Set up and operate production equipment in line with established procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation for inventory, testing, and in-process work.
- Follow engineering drawings, work instructions, and specifications to complete assignments.
- Perform acceptance testing, continuity checks, and other diagnostic assessments.
- Support engineering teams with prototype builds, process development, and testing.
- Ensure assemblies meet high quality standards through visual inspection and verification against documentation.
- Properly set up and use hardware, tools, and fixtures to complete work efficiently.
- Collaborate with engineering to troubleshoot product or equipment issues.
- Contribute to Lean initiatives, including 5S, Visual Factory, and continuous improvement practices.
Minimum Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Comfortable using computers and navigating multiple software applications.
- 2+ years of experience as an assembler, operator, or technician in a manufacturing environment.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes, raw materials, production methods, and quality control.
- Background in medical ultrasound manufacturing preferred, but not required.
Skills & Abilities
- Strong reading comprehension and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to interpret technical documentation, production schedules, mechanical drawings, and electrical schematics.
- Skilled at interpreting test data, using assembly tools, and identifying electrical and mechanical components.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination, dexterity, and visual detail orientation.
- Comfortable working in environments that may involve repetitive tasks, chemicals, fumes, heat, or noise.
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, torque wrenches, and microscopes preferred.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage time effectively with minimal supervision.
