Rainier Recruiting is partnering with a well known commercial office furniture dealer who is seeking a Project Manager. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading complex workplace projects, including commercial relocations, office furniture installations, lab transitions, decommissions, and minor interior buildouts. This role oversees projects from initial concept through completion, ensuring they meet client expectations in terms of scope, timeline, and budget. This individual excels in coordinating across multiple stakeholders—clients, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams—to deliver high-quality results while minimizing disruptions. A strong background in project logistics, contract furniture systems, and field coordination is essential. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a passion for delivering smooth, well-executed projects in fast-paced environments. Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple concurrent projects from planning through closeout.
- Coordinate closely with clients, internal teams, vendors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to define project objectives, schedules, and resources.
- Create and manage project schedules, budgets, and risk assessments.
- Perform site visits, walkthroughs, and attend pre-installation meetings.
- Oversee all logistics and phases of moves and installations to ensure minimal business disruption.
- Maintain thorough documentation throughout the project lifecycle, including change orders, installation plans, and punch lists.
- Ensure regulatory and client compliance, including safety and building code adherence.
- Serve as the main point of contact for client communications during all phases of a project.
- Monitor labor and equipment usage, ensuring cost and resource efficiency.
- Prepare installation documentation packages for field crews.
- Secure necessary delivery permits and coordinate with building management for site access.
- Verify product orders and shipping details with manufacturers.
- Conduct walk-throughs and client sign-offs at project completion.
- Provide product demonstrations and post-installation support as needed.
- Lead internal debrief and lessons-learned meetings with sales, design, and project staff.
- Continuously seek ways to improve processes, client satisfaction, and project delivery outcomes.

Qualifications
- 5–7 years of experience in project management within commercial interiors, facility services, or related fields.
- Demonstrated success in managing office relocations, installations, and light construction projects.
- Deep understanding of contract furniture systems and installation logistics.
- Skilled in reading construction documents, floorplans, and product specifications.
- Proficient in tools such as Smartsheet, MS Project, or similar platforms.
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership abilities.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally to project sites.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education and 3–5 years of related experience also considered.
