Position Summary

The National Accounts Director is a senior leadership role responsible for developing and executing strategic partnerships with major national healthcare systems, hospital networks, and key retail chains to drive revenue growth and market expansion for our infant nutrition portfolio. This position requires a proven track record of managing multi-million dollar accounts and building C-suite relationships that deliver long-term value for both our company and our partners.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic Account Management

  • Lead strategic planning and execution for national accounts
  • Develop and maintain executive-level relationships with C-Suite leaders, SVPs, and key decision makers across major hospital systems and retail chains
  • Create comprehensive account strategies that align with customer needs while maximizing long-term revenue growth and market share expansion
  • Negotiate complex, multi-year enterprise contracts and partnership agreements
  • Create demand with through education with high profile KOL's

Business Development & Growth

  • Identify and capitalize on emerging opportunities within the evolving healthcare landscape
  • Drive new business development initiatives with untapped national accounts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that address customer challenges
  • Lead market expansion efforts into new geographic regions and customer segments

Territory Management

  • Manage all aspects of your assigned territory that includes: pricing, distribution, customer education, channel development
  • Foster collaboration across internal teams including Medical Affairs, Marketing, R&D, and Customer Service
  • Lead annual business planning and forecasting processes for assigned accounts
  • Leverage clinical data to support products value positioning
  • To stay current on clinical nutrition trends


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum 7 years experience in healthcare sales
  • Experience in infant nutrition, pediatric healthcare, DME or related area
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Nurse ( RN) preferred, But NOT required
  • Experience working DME supplies/ distribution channels, hospitals, and clinicians
  • Background in clinical nutrition or medical sales advantageous

  • Deep understanding of healthcare reimbursement and procurement processes
  • Self motivated and the ability to work independently and as a team
  • Proficiency in CRM systems
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills

Location

This position is to be based remotely within the state. Preference for candidates located near major metropolitan areas with significant healthcare presence.
