As the Human Resources Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading and managing the day-to-day operations of the HR function across a wide range of responsibilities, including employee relations, onboarding, compliance, policy implementation, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives. You’ll partner closely with the Sr. Director of People to ensure the HR function aligns with company goals and maintains a positive and compliant workplace. This is a full-time, on-site role requiring presence five days per week.


Key Responsibilities


  • Stay up-to-date on employment laws and HR best practices to ensure organizational compliance
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations; review and update internal policies as needed
  • Communicate changes in personnel policies and ensure consistent application across the organization
  • Administer core HR programs including benefits, leave of absence, payroll coordination, and workplace safety
  • Partner with the Sr. Director of People on employee relations issues and resolution strategies
  • Lead implementation of diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, including the development of business-specific DEI strategies
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the Sr. Director of People on employee matters and policy guidance
  • Maintain and optimize the HRIS (Paycom) to meet organizational data and reporting needs
  • Provide supervision or oversight to HR team members as needed
  • Participate in cross-functional projects and proactively take on additional responsibilities


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of relevant HR experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • SHRM-SCP or SHRM-CP certification preferred
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
  • Experience managing or mentoring others is a plus
  • Ability to handle sensitive issues with discretion and professionalism
  • In-depth knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance
  • Proficiency in Paycom or comparable HRIS platforms
  • Experience in a technical or high-growth environment preferred
