Role Overview


The Data Scientist will play a key role in supporting data-driven decision-making across marketing, operations, and risk functions. This individual will leverage statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and data exploration to generate insights, improve performance, and inform business strategy.


This role is well-suited for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of analytics and business impact, partnering closely with cross-functional stakeholders to solve real-world problems.


Key Responsibilities


  • Analyze structured and unstructured data to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights
  • Partner with data engineering and BI teams to support data pipelines and improve data accessibility
  • Perform data cleansing, validation, and preprocessing across multiple data sources
  • Develop and maintain statistical and predictive models to support business decision-making
  • Create clear, compelling visualizations and reports for both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Translate business questions into analytical frameworks and data-driven solutions
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across analytics, product, and operations
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across analyses


Qualifications


  • ~3+ years of experience in data science, analytics, or a related field
  • Proficiency in Python, R, and/or SQL
  • Experience with BI and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
  • Strong foundation in statistical modeling, data analysis, and problem-solving
  • Experience working with large datasets and data warehousing concepts
  • Ability to communicate insights clearly to a range of stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics or similar); advanced degree is a plus
