Position Title: Associate Account Manager (AAM)
Reporting To: Director of Account Managers
Location: Remote position requiring travel in the Detroit, MI metro area and remote work from home.
Position Summary
As an integral part of the Go-to-Market Team, the Associate Account Manager (AAM) is responsible for owning, maintaining, and supporting existing client relationships while delivering the full scope of work for assigned accounts. This role focuses on ensuring high customer satisfaction, strong service delivery, and successful execution of water management programs.
In delivering the scope of work, the AAM will assist with leading the development, facilitation, and reassessments of water management programs for assigned accounts within the region. They will either direct or support the deployment of a Water Management Specialist (WMS/WME), with corporate oversight on project execution and quality.
Key Responsibilities
Client Support
Effective and efficient service delivery and support of existing client relationships within the assigned Region and/or Territory. This may include, but is not limited to:
- Delivering on the scope of work for existing client engagements
- Leading water management teams on program development, facilitation, and reassessments
- Supporting contract renewals and purchase order processes as needed
- Conducting annual business reviews
Margin & Operational Coordination
- Working closely with the Director of Account Managers to support appropriate project execution and alignment with company expectations
Product & Process Knowledge
- Work closely with the Director of Account Managers and other support functions (Operations and Marketing) to remain current on Phigenics products, processes, and approaches
- Leverage product and process insights in client interactions and program delivery
Data Analysis and Reporting
- Utilize PowerBI, phiAnalytics, and other tools to support decision-making and track client-facing performance metrics
- Identify operational trends and opportunities to improve program execution
Water Management Program Deliverables
- Develop Water Management Program (WMP) documentation with regional and corporate team members, including program development, assessment, and facilitation in alignment with current regulatory drivers
- Support documentation of site information, WMPs, meeting notes, and internal project records
- Support facilitation of Water Management Team meetings to promote engagement and accountability
- Conduct water system surveys for Water Management Program development across varying facility sizes and use cases
- Manage project timelines to ensure on-time delivery of WMP deliverables
- Utilize internal quality processes to confirm documentation is accurate and defensible
- Collect, assimilate, and analyze data to generate Water Management Programs
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required (STEM degree preferred but not required)
- Strong understanding of Phigenics processes, products, and markets
- Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence to work effectively with internal teams and client counterparts
- Solid understanding of service delivery processes (PASL, phiAnalytics, Operations, etc.)
- Keen awareness of the client lifecycle and when to introduce additional program elements or services as appropriate
- Commitment to continuous learning and improvement through structured training directed by the Senior Director of Account Management
