Our client is a large, consumer-facing financial services organization operating at meaningful scale. The company is investing heavily in modernizing its digital experiences and accelerating growth across high-consideration customer journeys.
They are seeking a Senior Growth UX Designer to directly impact progression and conversion performance across key digital funnels.
Position Overview
This is not a traditional UX role.
This designer will be accountable for improving step progression and lead form completion rates across complex, high-trust financial journeys. The ideal candidate is highly data-oriented, experimentation-driven, and fluent in designing persuasive, conversion-focused experiences.
In addition to optimizing existing flows, this individual will help architect structured, educational journeys that build trust and guide users from awareness to engagement. The role requires close partnership with Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Growth leadership.
The right candidate moves quickly, ships strong V1s, and continuously refines based on measurable performance data.
What You Will Own
- Measurable improvement in step progression rates across key digital flows

- Optimization of landing pages, lead forms, and mid-funnel experiences
- Design of structured, content-driven educational journeys
- Continuous friction audits and performance refinements
- Insight-driven experimentation ideas grounded in behavioral data
Core Responsibilities
Design for KPI Impact
- Translate behavioral analytics and user insights into clear hypotheses.
- Design experiences explicitly intended to drive measurable conversion lift.
- Interpret funnel metrics and session-level behavior to inform improvements.
- Clearly articulate expected business impact of design decisions.
Build Content-Driven Growth Journeys
- Partner with marketing stakeholders to create persuasive, educational pathways.
- Architect scalable frameworks that can be reused across campaigns and initiatives.
- Develop information hierarchies and interaction patterns that promote clarity and momentum.
Ship Strong V1 Solutions Quickly
- Deliver high-quality initial solutions with speed and focus.
- Leverage AI-enabled workflows to accelerate ideation and iteration.
- Partner closely with engineering to ensure clean execution.
- Monitor performance post-launch and refine accordingly.
Drive Insight-Led Testing
- Identify friction within live experiences.
- Propose testable hypotheses grounded in psychology and user behavior.
- Collaborate with growth leadership to prioritize and execute experimentation.
Elevate Craft & Systems
- Contribute to and evolve the design system.
- Raise quality through thoughtful critique and iteration.
- Continuously reflect and improve upon your own work.

Qualifications
- 5+ years in UX, Product Design, or Growth Design
- Demonstrated experience improving funnel, conversion, or engagement metrics
- Experience designing content-rich or educational digital journeys
- Comfort working directly with analytics and experimentation data
- Experience operating within structured experimentation programs
- Strong interaction design and systems thinking skills
- Portfolio demonstrating measurable business impact
- Proficiency in modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma)
- Experience incorporating AI-enabled workflows into design processes
- Strong communication skills and ability to defend design decisions with data
Experience in financial services or other high-consideration industries is helpful but not required.
