Overview
A leading, growth-stage financial services organization is seeking a Manager, Affiliate & Influencer Marketing to own and scale a core performance acquisition channel while launching a net-new influencer marketing program from the ground up.
This role sits at the intersection of performance marketing, partnerships, and brand, with full ownership of affiliate lead acquisition and responsibility for building an influencer program that complements paid media and broader customer acquisition efforts. The ideal candidate brings a strong mix of strategic thinking, hands-on execution, and cross-functional collaboration in a regulated environment.
Purpose of the Role
This role is responsible for:
- Owning and growing the affiliate acquisition channel
- Building and scaling a new influencer marketing program from zero to impact
- Managing partner performance, lead quality, ROI, and experimentation
- Acting as a strategic growth driver within a broader digital marketing organization
The role works closely with paid media, analytics/BI, web and development, creative, compliance, and marketing operations teams to ensure performance, attribution accuracy, and regulatory alignment.
Key Responsibilities
Affiliate Marketing
- Own day-to-day relationships and performance across top-tier affiliate partners, publishers, networks, and lead sources
- Negotiate commission structures, partner terms, and incentives aligned to performance and business goals
- Develop affiliate channel roadmaps, including seasonal strategies, new partnerships, and testing plans
- Monitor lead quality, conversion rates, pacing, and ROI; optimize based on data and partner trends
- Partner with analytics and web teams to ensure accurate tracking, attribution, and reporting
Influencer Marketing
- Lead the strategy, launch, pilot, and scaling of a new influencer marketing program
- Source, vet, negotiate, and manage relationships with micro- and macro-influencers
- Align influencer partnerships with audience targeting, messaging, and acquisition objectives
- Coordinate influencer campaigns with creative, paid media, and compliance teams
- Test and iterate on content formats, payout models, and performance frameworks
Cross-Functional Leadership & Reporting
- Collaborate with other channel owners to ensure affiliate and influencer strategies integrate with broader marketing plans
- Build and deliver performance reporting, dashboards, and actionable insights for stakeholders
- Propose and run experiments (e.g., new incentive structures, content partnerships, payout models)
- Stay current on affiliate and influencer marketing trends, tools, and industry innovations

Qualifications & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in affiliate marketing, partnerships, and/or influencer marketing
- 3+ years of people management experience
- Proven success scaling affiliate programs and optimizing third-party lead acquisition
- Experience launching and building new marketing channels from scratch
- Strong negotiation, contract, and relationship-management skills
- Hands-on experience with performance tracking, attribution, lead quality analysis, and fraud monitoring
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)
- Strong cross-functional communication and project management abilities
- Experience in financial services or other regulated industries strongly preferred

- Bachelor’s degree required
- Field of study: Marketing, Business, Communications, or related discipline
