Job Responsibilities:


The Sous Chef will report directly to the Executive Chef and is responsible for managing a high-volume kitchen line. Key responsibilities include:

  • Inventory control and management
  • Minimizing food waste
  • Training and developing kitchen staff
  • Ensuring proper equipment sanitation and maintenance
  • Communicating effectively to delegate tasks and uphold the strictest standards and procedures

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume, fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Demonstrated passion for creating high-quality, fresh food from scratch.
  • Proven skills in problem-solving and effective decision-making.
  • In-depth knowledge of Labor Laws, Health Codes, Safe Food Handling, and Sanitation procedures.
  • Pastry/Baking experience is a significant plus.
