Position Overview

As the Assistant General Manager, you will play a key leadership role in overseeing daily restaurant operations while supporting the General Manager in driving performance, profitability, and team engagement. You will ensure compliance with company standards, maintain exceptional food quality and service, and help cultivate a positive, high-performing workplace culture.

This role is responsible for assisting with financial performance, including managing controllable costs, increasing sales, and contributing to overall profit and loss results. You will also be actively involved in recruiting, hiring, training, and retaining top-tier talent.


Key Responsibilities

  • Support and supervise daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency, consistency, and compliance
  • Uphold and enforce all company policies, procedures, and food safety standards
  • Maintain exceptional food quality, speed of service, and guest satisfaction
  • Assist with managing P&L performance, controlling labor and food costs, and driving profitability
  • Recruit, interview, hire, train, and retain high-performing team members
  • Lead by example, mentor team members, and foster a culture of accountability and teamwork
  • Partner with the General Manager to achieve operational and financial goals

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of restaurant management experience in a high-volume concept
  • Proven ability to develop, coach, and motivate team members
  • Strong leadership skills with a hands-on, problem-solving mindset
