Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Senior (SRE) Site Reliability Engineer (New Environment) position! This is a 3 months with possible extension contract opportunity and will be remote in United States.

This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services. No C2C or subcontracting arrangements will be considered.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead the migration of online and mobile banking services from legacy systems to a modern Azure-based environment, with primary focus on Windows Server and IIS infrastructure
• Configure, optimize, and maintain Windows Server environments and IIS web server deployments supporting critical banking applications
• Implement and manage monitoring solutions using Kibana and Dynatrace to ensure proactive identification of performance issues and system anomalies
• Perform deep-dive troubleshooting across network, database, and security layers to resolve complex production incidents
• Develop and maintain PowerShell automation scripts for deployment, configuration management, system health checks, and operational tasks
• Establish and execute release management strategies, coordinating deployments through GitLab CI/CD pipelines and Artifactory
• Provide hands-on production support and incident management, ensuring rapid resolution of issues impacting system stability and availability
• Support data center migration projects, coordinating Windows Server and IIS deployments and ensuring seamless transitions to new environments
• Collaborate with technology management, development teams, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
• Participate in on-call rotation to provide off-hours support and ensure 24/7 system availability

What You'll Need to Have:

• Senior level experience in Windows Server administration and infrastructure engineering roles
• Expert-level proficiency with Windows Server, IIS configuration and optimization, and PowerShell scripting/automation
• Strong hands-on experience with Kibana and/or Dynatrace for application performance monitoring and log analysis
• Proven troubleshooting expertise across network (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancers), database connectivity, and security protocols
• Experience with Azure cloud services, Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, and Artifactory in support of release management
• Strong background in production support and incident management within complex, high-availability environments
• Demonstrated experience supporting large-scale migration projects involving Windows Server and IIS platforms
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to diagnose and resolve performance bottlenecks in production environments
• Strong communication skills with the ability to document technical solutions and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

Pay Range: $75 - $80+/hr
