Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Senior Scrum Master II position! This is a 6+ month contract opportunity and will be hybrid in Buffalo, NY. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Leading 2 business teams, supporting with SAFe Agile practices, risk management, and full support of PI Planning.
• Provide servant-leadership and mentorship to multiple cross-functional agile teams using Scrum, Kanban, and XP methodologies.
• Foster self-organization, cross-functionality, collaboration, conflict resolution, transparency, and continuous improvement.
• Apply agile practices including user stories, retrospectives, story mapping, ATDD, TDD, CI, pairing, and information radiators.
• Facilitate team meetings: sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog refinement, reviews, retrospectives, and problem-solving sessions.
• Address blockers beyond team authority and coordinate with other teams and leaders as needed.
• Mentor less experienced Scrum Masters and contribute to agile coaching content.
• Promote learning via communities of practice, conferences, meetups, and training.
• Ensure compliance with internal risk and control standards.

What You'll Need to Have:

• Scaled Agile experience
• PI Planning expertise
• Risk Management skills
• Strong JIRA, Confluence, Salesforce, with very strong experience tracking metrics with the ability to radiate that information into dashboards.
• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years experience as a member of an agile team.
• Must have at least 2 years of experience as a Scrum Master.
• In addition, must have 3+ additional years working within technology roles.
• For example: experience in at least two tech team roles (e.g., PM, UX, BA, developer, QA).
• Prior experience fostering team self-organization and improvement.
• Understanding of Agile/Lean principles, digital capabilities, and Design Thinking.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead through influence.
• Zephyr experience is preferred.

Pay Range: $48-$58/hr
