Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to add a Business Systems Analyst to their team! This is a direct hire opportunity and will be on-site in Hogansburg, New York.

Position Overview:

The Business Systems Analyst plays a key role in supporting and improving the use of technology across the organization. This position is a liaison between end users and the technology team to gather requirements, analyze processes, troubleshoot issues, and design system solutions that align with business goals. The BSA will work across departments to evaluate system needs, support business process improvement, and develop or enhance integrations through API development and data mapping. This role requires both technical expertise and excellent communication skills to deliver scalable, user-friendly, and efficient systems support. 

What You'll Be Doing:

• Collaborate with department stakeholders (e.g., Accounting, Sales, HR, Operations) to gather and document business and technical requirements. 
• Conduct user interviews and process mapping sessions to understand current workflows and identify systems improvement opportunities. 
• Provide day-to-day systems support and troubleshooting for users across business systems (ERP, CRM, HRIS, etc.). 
• Train users on system functionality, changes, and best practices. 
• Analyze current systems and recommend changes to improve performance, efficiency, and scalability. 
• Assist in the evaluation and selection of new technology solutions based on business needs. 
• Develop user documentation and maintain accurate system configuration records. 
• Design, build, and maintain system integrations using APIs, middleware platforms, and data exchange formats (e.g., JSON, XML). 
• Collaborate with internal developers and third-party vendors to implement and test integration solutions. 
• Act as a project liaison for system upgrades, rollouts, and new module implementations. 
• Assist in testing and validation of new features or integrations before release. 
• Participate in cross-functional project teams to ensure alignment between business goals and system functionality. 

What You'll Need to Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field. 
• 3+ years of experience in business systems analysis or a similar role. 
• Experience working with API integrations, RESTful services, and data mapping. 
• Proficiency with SQL and common integration tools or platforms. 
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical users.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience working in a multi-division or manufacturing/distribution environment. 
• Experience with ERP or enterprise-level business systems (e.g., Sage, NetSuite, SAP, Salesforce). 
• Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript) or integration platforms (e.g., Zapier, MuleSoft, Boomi).

Salary Range: $75,000-$90,000 Annually
