*Remote Contract Opportunity*

Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Java Spring Boot / FileNet Developer position! This is a 12+ month contract opportunity and can be remote in the United States (EST hours). This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining applications utilizing Java and the Spring Boot framework 3.x+.
• Designing and implementing RESTful APIs within a microservices architecture.
• Staying up-to-date with the latest Spring Boot features and best practices, and suggesting improvements to the codebase or development processes.
• Connecting applications to databases using Spring Data JPA and data access technologies.
• Setting up and configuring FileNet P8 environments, setting up roles, proxy objects, document classes, and search templates.
• Play a key role as both a leader and individual contributor on projects.
• Provide high-level analytical consulting and leadership in identifying and implementing new technology solutions.
• Direct and mentor less experienced team members, and coordinate development tasks across projects.
• Prepare and review technical specifications, test data, and execute test plans including debugging.
• Evaluate interrelationships among programs, interfacing applications, and platforms.
• Develop and maintain thorough documentation including charts, tables, and diagrams.
• Ensure efficiency and effectiveness of supported applications while recommending new technologies or process improvements.

What You'll Need to Have:

• Minimum of an Associate’s degree and 6 years of systems analysis/application development experience, OR in lieu of degree, 8+ years of higher education/work experience with at least 6 years in systems analysis/application development.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot (3.x+), and RESTful API development in a microservices architecture.
• Strong experience connecting applications to databases using Spring Data JPA and related technologies.
• Strong FileNet development experience, including configuring FileNet P8 environments, Content Engine, GraphQL, Content Navigator, and Daeja Viewer.
• Knowledge of IBM WebSphere and Linux operating system.
• Experience with GraphQL APIs, batch utilities, and REST services integration.

Preferred Experience:

• Familiarity with GitLab, Azure Cloud, MS SQL, Automic Scheduler, Dynatrace, and Kibana dashboards/monitoring.
• Hands-on experience with Angular UI development.
• FileNet deployment manager administration experience.

Pay Range: $68-$83+/hr
