*Hybrid Contract-to-Hire Opportunity*

Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Application Performance Monitoring (APM) Engineer with expertise in Dynatrace, Zabbix, and Alertbot! This is a 6+ month contract-to-hire opportunity and will be hybrid in Charlotte, NC. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Work as a member of the Application Performance team and support Enterprise Architecture and Shared Services Technology division.
• Install, configure and maintain Dynatrace, Zabbix, Pager Duty and Alertbot tools on AWS and On-Prem servers.
• Work closely with Application and Middleware teams on the analysis, prediction and research for health checks, logs and alerts.
• Interact with Windows and Linux platform servers, improve the monitoring tools with applied scripting knowledge and querying SQL databases.
• Work with Application teams to define thresholds and configure alerts accordingly.
• Daily Operations (Release management, Health checks, log analysis, alerts review)
• Trend/Prediction Analysis configuration skills
• Tuning and maintenance of system alerts
• Explore possible solutions withing the Zabbix, Dynatrace and Alertbot tools.
• Participate in incident calls and troubleshooting.
• Support AWS ECS monitoring using Dynatrace.
• Upgrade Zabbix and Dynatrace frequently.
• Apply security patches to the monitoring infrastructure.
• Create solutions for custom monitoring for applications by building custom scripts.
• Monitor alerts and take appropriate actions.
• Update tickets on a regular basis and keep leadership informed of work status/progress.

What You’ll Need to Have:

• 8/10 Expertise in all of the following: Zabbix, Dynatrace, Alertbot and foglight tools
• Experience with Dynatrace DQL , APIs and AIOPs implementation using Dynatrace
• Experience with Dynatrace Extensions and integrate them with Application monitoring.
• Experience with Cloud Watch and AWS tools
• Experience with YAML, Shell Scripting
• Experience in PowerShell
• Experience with backups, restores and recovery models.
• Experience with DB concepts, MicroServices and shell scripting.
• Experience with Azure DevOps tool to create and maintain PBI’s.
• 8+ years of experience as Performance Engineer
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Preferred Skills for this role that set a candidate apart:
• Familiar with Windows and Linux operating systems
• Experience with administration of both the monitoring tools : Zabbix and Dynatrace 

Pay Range: $65-$70+/hr
