Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Enterprise Architect - Mythos Foundation position! This is a 12-18 month contract and will be remote in the United States. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead the enterprise architecture for the core AI platform (Mythos), defining conceptual and logical architecture along with high-level physical design patterns for enterprise AI adoption and platform evolution
• Own and drive the target state design of the future AI platform, including embedded AI capabilities within business applications and establishing standards, control frameworks, and reusable patterns for AI platform services
• Define enterprise patterns for embedded AI, ensuring consistent integration of AI capabilities into business workflows with appropriate controls for risk, compliance, and ethical use
• Establish architecture for AI telemetry and observability, ensuring visibility into model behavior, usage, performance, and risk indicators at scale while defining guardrail and governance frameworks to prevent misuse, bias, or data leakage
• Partner with Technology domain leadership to provide consultation services that improve technology delivery and operational efficiency, translating enterprise technology vision into principles, guidelines, standards and patterns
• Research and communicate fact-based recommendations to support strategic decision making, including guidance on model selection and fit-for-purpose usage leveraging structured decision frameworks (cost, performance, risk, latency)
• Collaborate with security, risk, data, and engineering teams to ensure platform architectures are secure, compliant, and implementable while effectively communicating architecture strategy, tradeoffs, and business impact to senior leadership
• Identify opportunities for solving domain problems from a broad enterprise perspective, promoting the reuse of existing technical investments and capabilities while participating in planning and design of strategic initiatives

What You'll Need to Have

• 7+ years of experience in developing and integrating applications using relevant software architecture principles and patterns, with strong focus on AI and enterprise architecture
• Deep expertise in AI models and platform capabilities, including the design and operation of Small Language Models (SLMs) within the enterprise
• Proven experience working with architectural frameworks and enterprise architecture tools, with ability to document, visualize, and articulate overall technical health and current/target states
• Strong experience in Cloud technologies and architecture, with certification in Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) highly preferred
• Demonstrated ability to define decision frameworks and architectural patterns that link model selection and deployment strategies to measurable ROI
• Experience working in Agile environments and financial services industry preferred
• Exceptional executive communication skills with proven ability to build strong stakeholder partnerships and articulate complex technical concepts to senior leadership
• Bachelor's degree and 7 years of relevant work experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 11 years higher education and/or relevant work experience

Pay Range: $75 - $100/hr
