Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their HR Recruiter position! This is a direct placement opportunity and will be onsite in Buffalo, NY. No C2C or subcontracting arrangements will be considered.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Lead high-volume recruiting efforts across diverse functions including manufacturing, engineering, sales, accounting, and executive-level positions, managing end-to-end candidate experiences
- Partner with hiring managers to understand business needs and develop targeted recruitment strategies that align with organizational goals and culture
- Drive innovative sourcing initiatives using creative strategies including social media, networking, community outreach, and career fairs to build robust talent pipelines
- Serve as a cultural ambassador by conducting engaging interviews and facility tours that showcase the organization's values and create exceptional candidate experiences
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with local colleges, community organizations, and professional networks to position the company as an employer of choice
- Design and implement recruiting process improvements, developing screening tools, refining job descriptions, and creating systems for knowledge sharing across the recruiting function
- Support new hire integration through onboarding and early engagement activities, ensuring seamless transitions and strong starts for new team members
- Collaborate cross-functionally with HR and operations teams to support workforce planning initiatives across multiple locations, including out-of-state expansion efforts
What You'll Need to Have:
- 4+ years of high-volume recruiting experience with demonstrated success filling diverse role types across multiple functions
- Proven experience recruiting for manufacturing environments, with understanding of both plant-floor and professional/technical positions
- Strong track record of sourcing innovation and creative talent acquisition strategies beyond traditional job boards
- Exceptional relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, with ability to collaborate effectively with hiring managers and candidates
- Outgoing, collaborative personality with ability to serve as a cultural ambassador and create positive candidate experiences
- Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Adaptability and enthusiasm for working in fast-paced, high-growth environments with evolving needs
Pay Range: $80,000 - $85,000/year
