Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Internal Communications Specialist position! This is a 12+ month contract opportunity and will be onsite in Buffalo, NY with good potential to extend and/or convert to FTE.

This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Build and execute communications strategy for a large-scale cloud transformation project
• Create executive-level communications that translate complex technical concepts into clear, accessible messaging
• Develop engaging content across multiple formats including emails, articles, presentations, and marketing materials
• Design professional PowerPoint presentations using creative visuals, graphs, and imagery to communicate project status and data
• Collaborate with technology teams to understand cloud project impacts on employees and stakeholders
• Produce scorecards and dashboards that effectively communicate project progress to various audiences
• Support upskilling initiatives by creating communications that help technologists understand and adopt cloud technologies
• Partner with communications specialists and multimedia experts to deliver cohesive business engagement materials

What You'll Need to Have:

• 5-10 years of communication or marketing experience with focus on executive-level content creation
• Proven internal employee communications experience, particularly within technology or IT environments
• Expert-level PowerPoint skills including creation of professional slides with graphs, images, and creative data visualization
• Demonstrated ability to translate technical jargon and concepts into user-friendly messaging for non-technical audiences
• Strong writing and storytelling capabilities with portfolio or writing samples to showcase your work
• Experience creating scorecards, dashboards, and status communications for complex projects
• Foundational project management skills and ability to coordinate across multiple workstreams
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail and clarity

Pay Range: $50-55+/hr
