Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Technical Solution Architect (AWS) position! This is a 12 month contract-to-hire and will be remote in the United States. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services. No C2C or subcontracting arrangements will be considered.


What You'll Be Doing:


  • Design and architect scalable, cloud-native solutions using AWS services to support enterprise initiatives across the solution layer
  • Partner with Product Managers, Product Owners, and business stakeholders to define architecture for upcoming integrations and new business capabilities
  • Lead PI Planning sessions with Agile delivery teams, providing technical guidance and establishing architectural direction for solution development
  • Create comprehensive solution designs, architecture diagrams, and technical documentation that define patterns and standards for development teams
  • Provide technical governance throughout the implementation lifecycle, ensuring development teams are building to specification and meeting enterprise architectural standards
  • Present architecture designs to development teams, enabling them to break down user stories and understand implementation approach
  • Drive continuous improvement by evaluating new standards, processes, and architectural patterns to enhance solution quality and scalability
  • Ensure all solutions align with enterprise architectural guardrails and support high-volume transaction processing requirements
  • Collaborate across cross-functional teams to design API-driven and event-driven integrations with third-party systems and SaaS platforms


What You'll Need to Have:


  • 3+ years of Technical Solution Architecture experience with a strong software development background (not DevOps or Business Architecture)
  • Hands-on experience designing and architecting API-driven and event-driven solutions in AWS, including Lambda, Event Buses, Queues, and integration services
  • Proven experience with high-volume enterprise integrations supporting architectures that handle millions of transactions
  • Strong proficiency in C#/.NET and Python development
  • Solid experience with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a SAFe Agile environment and participate effectively in PI Planning
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both business stakeholders and development teams
  • Experience with AI-enabled solutions is a plus


Pay Range: $80-90/hr
