*Hybrid Contract Opportunity*

Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Senior Splunk SIEM position! This is a 15+ month contract opportunity based in Buffalo, NY, and is open to local and remote candidates. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services. 

What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead the design and architecture of the bank's SIEM infrastructure, ensuring its effectiveness, scalability, and alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements
• Implement, configure, and optimize SIEM solutions to collect, correlate, and analyze security event data from various sources
• Develop and maintain SIEM use cases, correlation rules, alerts, and reports
• Collaborate with Cybersecurity and Security Engineering teams to investigate complex incidents
• Lead SIEM-related projects, including upgrades and tool integration
• Mentor junior SIEM engineers and lead knowledge-sharing initiatives
• Participate in security drills and simulations

What You'll Need to Have:

• Senior Splunk Architecture and Engineering Experience
• Senior Splunk SIEM Design and Architecture
• Splunk Enterprise Certified Architect or Splunk Core Certified Consultant
• Data modeling and parsing expertise preferred
• Strong understanding of system development and infrastructure lifecycle, vendor best practices, IT Service Management, and systems design.
• 8+ years of experience in infrastructure design, data interchange, and system development for complex applications.
• Strong ability to translate business/functional requirements into structured implementations.
• Advanced technical, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Expertise in client/server and virtual technologies.
• Experience leading security initiatives and incident investigations.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.

Pay Range: $65-$75/hr
