*Remote Contract-to-Hire Opportunity*

Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their ServiceNow Developer position! This is a 6+ month contract-to-hire opportunity based in Charlotte, NC, and can be remote in the United States working east coast hours. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Exxecute hands-on ServiceNow development (100% coding hands on keyboard role) with immediate contribution from day one
• Build and enhance applications within ServiceNow App Engine / Workflow Engine (primary focus area)
• Develop and configure workflows using Flow Designer, including complex logic, approvals, and conditional paths
• Translate technical direction from Tech Leads into efficient, production-ready solutions
• Write and maintain server-side JavaScript (business rules, script includes, integrations)
• Deliver high-quality work in a heads-down, execution-focused environment with minimal oversight
• Support ongoing platform enhancements with a focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability
• Collaborate with team members while maintaining strong individual delivery ownership

What You'll Need to Have:

• Proven experience with ServiceNow App Engine / Workflow Engine (required – core to role)
• Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow development using JavaScript (server-side scripting is essential)
• Demonstrated ability to build applications and workflows from scratch within ServiceNow
• Experience with Flow Designer (preferred over legacy workflow editor)
• Ability to quickly understand requirements and execute without heavy direction or strategy involvement
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills
• High level of integrity and accuracy in representing experience and credentials

Nice to Have:

• Experience with UI/UX design within ServiceNow
• Active ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and/or Certified Application Developer (CAD) (must be current and verifiable)
• Agile training and/or certification (preferred).

Pay Range: $55-60/hr
