Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Patch Management Automation Engineer position! This is a 12-18 month contract and will be hybrid in Buffalo, NY.

This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services. No C2C or subcontracting arrangements will be considered.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Oversee and manage patch deployment for Linux, Windows, .NET, and Java environments across enterprise infrastructure
• Develop and implement automation tools and frameworks using Ansible to streamline patch management operations
• Maintain and troubleshoot existing patch automation while resolving break/fix issues and incidents
• Design and refine tools, processes, and factory workflows that support continuous improvement in patch operations
• Create and interpret architecture diagrams to support tooling design, process flows, and operational workflows
• Evaluate and implement enterprise patch management tooling such as Ivanti and SCCM for large-scale deployments

What You'll Need to Have:

• 6+ years of experience in systems design, infrastructure management, or technical architecture roles
• Strong proficiency in both Linux and Windows server environments with hands-on patching experience
• Expert-level experience with Ansible for automation, along with Python and PowerShell scripting capabilities
• Deep knowledge of .NET, Java, and related application frameworks and their patch requirements
• Proven experience with enterprise patch management tools such as Ivanti or SCCM
• Demonstrated ability to design and automate operational processes in large-scale, complex environments
• Strong capability to read, create, and communicate through architecture diagrams and technical documentation
• ServiceNow exposure with ability to leverage it for incident and change management

Pay Range: $60-65+/hr
