Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Network Automation Engineer position! This is a 12-18 months contract opportunity and will be remote in United States.

This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services. No C2C or subcontracting arrangements will be considered.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated workflows for network infrastructure using Nautobot, Ansible, and Infrastructure as Code principles
• Lead the implementation of scalable, automated solutions for Data Center and Cloud networking operations across Azure and AWS environments
• Deploy and manage network resources in cloud environments including security controls and third-party network appliances
• Collaborate with Technology management, senior Engineers, and support teams to implement technical solutions that meet current and future organizational needs
• Build and maintain automated deployment pipelines, writing code to enable infrastructure changes through automation rather than manual processes
• Create comprehensive support and architectural documentation, standards, policies, and testing frameworks for network automation initiatives
• Mentor and coach less experienced engineers and technicians, reviewing their documentation, proposals, and proposed changes
• Interact with business partners across various levels to clarify requirements and translate them into automated network solutions
• Coordinate vendor interactions and manage vendor resources as needed to support automation and infrastructure objectives
• Stay current with Financial Services trends, practices, and emerging technologies in network automation and cloud networking

What You'll Need to Have:

• 6+ years of professional experience in network engineering with strong focus on Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and network automation
• Proven expertise in DevOps practices and network programmability for deploying automated infrastructure solutions
• Deep experience with cloud networking in Azure and AWS, including native security controls and network architecture
• Strong proficiency with automation and orchestration tools including Ansible, Terraform, and Nautobot for network infrastructure management
• Demonstrated experience with Arista Data Center technologies and cloud-native networking solutions
• Advanced technical skills in writing code for automated deployments and implementing infrastructure changes programmatically
• Experience with Aviatrix or similar cloud networking platforms preferred
• Cloud certifications (Azure, AWS) and/or networking certifications (Cisco, Arista) strongly preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to translate complex requirements into automated solutions

Pay Range: $45 - $50+/hr
