*Remote Contract Opportunity*

Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Senior ServiceNow Engineer position! This is a 6+ month contract opportunity based in Buffalo, NY and is open to local and remote candidates. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of technical solutions in support of current and future organizational needs.
• Collaborate regularly with technology leadership, business stakeholders, and support teams to define and execute solutions.
• Contribute to infrastructure architecture and design, standards creation, and the evaluation of user requirements and operational constraints.
• Conduct unit testing, system integration, and user acceptance testing activities.
• Estimate effort levels for complex, moderate to large-scale projects.
• Coordinate with vendors, including managing contract and vendor resources.
• Mentor junior engineers and technical staff; review their work and provide feedback.
• Continuously research industry trends and emerging technologies in the technology landscape.
• Maintain strong technical knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, its environments, and associated vendor services.
• Assist in budget planning for capital and operational expenditures.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory, risk, and internal control standards.

What You'll Need to Have:

• A combined minimum of 10 years of higher education and/or professional experience in systems design, management, and/or architecture.
• Expertise in ServiceNow Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and Common Services Data Model (CSDM).
• Deep knowledge of ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping.
• Strong overall knowledge and experience across the ServiceNow platform.
• Thorough understanding of the system development lifecycle, IT Service Management (ITSM), and infrastructure best practices.
• Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into structured, high-quality technical implementations.
• Proven ability to identify and implement optimal solutions for complex technical challenges.

Nice to Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years in a technical engineering role focused on infrastructure design, data management, and complex system development.

Pay Range: $85-$100/hr +
