Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Java Full Stack Developer - Cloud Migration position! This is an 18 months+ contract and will be remote in United States.

This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services. No C2C or subcontracting arrangements will be considered.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Migrate legacy desktop applications to modern web-based platforms using Java backend and Angular frontend
• Build cloud-native solutions in Azure to modernize mortgage origination systems
• Translate and refactor existing .NET codebase to Java for mortgage technology applications
• Deploy and maintain web applications in Azure cloud environments
• Develop database functionality using SQL and cloud-based database services
• Collaborate with teams to introduce Java development practices into historically .NET-focused environments
• Navigate and configure Azure cloud infrastructure to support application deployment
• Modernize systems and data surrounding the mortgage platform
• Support full-stack development across backend services and frontend user interfaces

What You'll Need to Have:

• Strong Java backend development experience with proven ability to build scalable applications
• Hands-on experience deploying and running web applications in Azure cloud environments
• Solid Angular frontend development skills for full-stack implementation
• Proficiency with SQL and cloud-based database technologies
• Familiarity with .NET for reading and translating legacy code to Java
• Demonstrated ability to navigate cloud environments and configure cloud-native applications
• Experience modernizing legacy applications and migrating them to cloud platforms

Pay Range: $65 - $70+/hr
