Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Enterprise Architect - Infrastructure position! This is a 6 month contract-to-hire and will be remote in the United States. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead the conceptual and logical architecture for enterprise infrastructure spanning Azure cloud, co-location data centers, compute, networking, and platform services
• Define high-level physical architecture standards for scalable, resilient, and cost-efficient environments supporting all platforms, including AI and digital workloads
• Partner with domain leadership to document, visualize, and articulate the overall technical health, current state, and target state of Enterprise Architecture
• Establish enterprise architecture patterns for hybrid infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration across cloud and on-premise environments and alignment with enterprise cloud strategy
• Drive Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) architecture principles across Azure and co-location environments, including reliability, scalability, observability, and automation frameworks
• Collaborate with engineering, SRE, and platform teams to translate the enterprise's future-state architecture vision into actionable principles, guidelines, standards, and patterns
• Research and apply emerging technologies and industry trends to provide fact-based recommendations that support strategic decision-making and improve technology delivery
• Communicate architecture tradeoffs, risks, and investment priorities to senior leadership while building strong stakeholder partnerships across technical and business teams

What You'll Need to Have

• 7+ years of experience in developing and integrating applications using relevant software architecture principles and patterns
• Deep knowledge of infrastructure and cloud technologies, including Azure-native services, hybrid connectivity, container platforms, and distributed systems
• Proven experience in software engineering, software delivery, and/or solution architecture roles
• Working knowledge of architectural frameworks and enterprise architecture tools
• Strong executive communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to work in an Agile environment and collaborate with distributed technical teams
• Experience defining SRE operating models, including error budgets, SLIs/SLOs, and reliability governance frameworks (preferred)
• Certification in Cloud technologies (Azure preferred) and enterprise architecture frameworks (preferred)

Pay Range: $75 - $100/hr
