Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Program Manager position! This is a 12-18 months contract and will be hybrid in Buffalo, NY.
This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services. No C2C or subcontracting arrangements will be considered.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Lead program planning and execution across multiple related projects impacting three or more business functions
- Drive stakeholder and executive communication, regularly presenting initiative status to senior leadership in a clear and professional manner
- Manage risk, governance, and dependency coordination across constituent projects to ensure program success
- Develop comprehensive project plans including work breakdown structures, budgets, schedules, and resource allocation strategies
- Monitor and control cost, schedule, and technical performance using appropriate tools and techniques to identify variances
- Facilitate customer acceptance by managing changes to project scope and schedule using defined verification and change management processes
- Build and lead high-performing project teams through mentoring, training, and motivation to boost morale and efficiency
- Implement approved risk mitigation actions and workarounds to address program constraints and maintain project momentum
- Coordinate resource sharing among constituent projects to optimize overall program benefit and efficiency
- Maintain internal control standards and ensure adherence to risk and regulatory policies across all program activities
What You'll Need to Have:
- 8+ years of proven project management experience managing large-scale programs impacting multiple business areas
- Strong knowledge of project management methodology with demonstrated ability to manage projects from initiation to close
- Proven ability to communicate with executive management and influence decision-making across organizational levels
- Experience managing projects with scope of $5M+, team sizes of 30-50 FTE, and durations of 18-24 months
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to identify solutions while balancing program constraints and objectives
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills necessary to build trust, gain consensus, and manage stakeholder relationships
Preference For The Following:
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification strongly preferred
- Program Management Professional (PgMP) certification and Master's degree are a plus
Pay Range: $60-70+/hr
