Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Software Engineer - Database Integration & Migration position! This is a 6-18 month contract and will be remote in United States.

This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services. No C2C or subcontracting arrangements will be considered.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead the migration of online banking infrastructure from on-premise data center to CoLocation environment
• Migrate existing SQL jobs and SSIS packages from an on-premises environment to a colocation (CoLo) environment, including validation and testing; no redevelopment or code rewrites are required.
• Be able to test out and understand - no need for rewrites or anything else. They are not building it.
• Provide expertise with SSIS and SQL Server technologies
• Execute lift-and-shift migration strategy while ensuring system stability and data integrity
• Build and maintain .NET/C# applications to support data center transition initiatives
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab for seamless deployment processes
• Direct and mentor junior engineers while coordinating development tasks across project phases
• Prepare comprehensive technical specifications and maintain systems documentation throughout migration
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams from technical analysis through user acceptance testing
• Evaluate complex interrelationships among programs, interfacing applications, and platforms
• Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and validation to ensure application performance post-migration

What You'll Need to Have:

• 5+ years of hands-on systems analysis and application development experience
• Advanced proficiency in SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) and SQL job development
• Solid understanding of SQL Server database architecture and optimization
• Strong Proven experience with .NET framework and C# programming
• Some demonstrated ability with GitLab CI/CD pipeline implementation and management

Pay Range: $70-75+/hr
