Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Java Microservices Developer position! This is a 12+ month contract opportunity and will be remote in the United States. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Analyze, design, and develop complex software solutions.
• Contribute to strategic direction from technical analysis through user acceptance.
• Direct and support less experienced developers.
• Manage technical components of project plans.
• Test, debug, and document systems.
• Evaluate program interactions and suggest new technologies.
• Maintain system performance and functionality.
• Provide detailed technical and functional specifications.
• Participate in vendor software evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with company risk and regulatory standards.

What You’ll Need to Have:

• Hands-on experience with the following:
• Spring Boot Framework 3.x.x & Java 21+
• DevOps using GitLab Pipelines, SAST mitigations
• ELK Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana)
• Red Hat Linux Servers
• Shell Scripting (Linux/Unix)
• MS SQL Server
• Cloud Platforms (Azure preferred)
• 5+ years Java development experience
• Ability to coordinate across teams and drive project timelines
• Proactive and action-oriented mindset
• Deep understanding of integrated applications and enterprise architecture preferred
• Experience with banking or financial applications preferred

Pay Range: $55-$70+/hr
