Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Oro Commerce Functional Analyst position! This is a 6 month contract-to-hire and will be hybrid in Charlotte, NC. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services. No C2C or subcontracting arrangements will be considered.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Partner with Product Management and technology teams to translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria that drive platform enhancements and operational improvements
- Lead backlog refinement activities and ensure stories are development-ready by maintaining detailed documentation, process flows, and solution designs in collaboration with Architecture and Development teams
- Bridge the gap between Product Management and technical resources by serving as the primary liaison to ensure shared understanding of requirements, dependencies, and expected outcomes across all stakeholders
- Support sprint planning, release coordination, and delivery activities by tracking action items, managing dependencies, and identifying risks throughout the software development lifecycle
- Collaborate with QA teams to coordinate testing activities, support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and assist with production validation and post-release support efforts
- Maintain platform configurations within OroCommerce's back office, assist with catalog management and content administration, and document operational procedures to reduce manual work
- Drive issue triage and resolution by partnering with development and support teams to investigate platform behavior, troubleshoot problems, and implement solutions
- Ensure standards and quality across requirements documentation, project deliverables, and operational processes while maintaining a healthy, prioritized backlog
What You'll Need to Have:
- 5+ years of experience in Functional Analysis, Business Analysis, Systems Analysis, or Product Support roles with demonstrated expertise gathering and documenting business and functional requirements
- Proven experience working with software development teams throughout the full delivery lifecycle, including backlog management, sprint planning, and release activities
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and willingness to work outside the box in a small, collaborative team environment
- Experience supporting B2B or enterprise eCommerce platforms, with OroCommerce administration or configuration experience highly preferred
- Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies, with experience supporting release management and production support activities
- Basic to intermediate SQL skills for querying data, validating requirements, and supporting troubleshooting efforts
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams
- Technical curiosity and willingness to learn platform administration, configurations, and system functionality
Pay Range: $50-$55/hr
