The Offshore Lead at Springline Advisory will play a crucial role in establishing and managing the firm’s offshore accounting functions, leading the transition and pathway to Springline International as the company grows. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role requires an entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to build and execute processes in a lean/start-up environment. The ideal candidate will leverage their experience in the CPA professional services environment, preferably in middle-market settings, to design and implement a comprehensive intake process that aligns multiple firms’ front-end needs into a standardized back-end operation. This individual will be instrumental in building strong relationships with third-party providers, driving offshoring strategies, and creating an effective, scalable model for the firm’s offshore operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Offshoring Strategy & Execution:

● Develop and lead Springline’s offshore strategy in collaboration with the executive team, ensuring alignment with the company’s growth goals.

● Design and implement the offshore intake process, customizing it to manage the diverse needs of multiple firms while standardizing back-end operations.

● Establish and document an offshoring model, structure, and playbook to guide the scaling of offshore operations.

Operational Leadership:

● Serve as the primary point of contact for all offshore activities, ensuring clear communication and alignment between Springline’s onshore and offshore teams.

● Lead the setup and management of offshore teams, working closely with third-party vendors and Build-Operate-Transfer (BoT) partners.

● Monitor and report on offshoring progress, addressing challenges and ensuring milestones are met on time and within budget.

Relationship Management & Collaboration:

● Build and maintain strong relationships with third-party service providers, ensuring they understand and meet Springline’s expectations and quality standards.

● Engage with internal stakeholders, including the executive team, to ensure offshoring strategies align with Springline’s broader business objectives.

● Provide education and guidance to internal teams on offshore best practices, processes, and benefits to ensure seamless integration and adoption.

Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement:

● Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency within offshore operations, implementing solutions to improve overall effectiveness.

● Develop training programs and resources to ensure offshore teams are equipped to deliver high-quality work that aligns with Springline’s standards.

● Drive continuous improvement initiatives to ensure offshore processes evolve and adapt as Springline scales.

Qualifications:

● Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field; Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP) preferred.

● Minimum of five years of experience leading offshoring initiatives, preferably within a CPA accounting environment (Big 4 or middle market experience preferred, with a preference for middle market).

● Proven ability to work in a lean/start-up environment, with a hands-on approach and the ability to execute tasks independently.

● Strong process knowledge with experience designing intake processes, models, and playbooks to manage diverse client needs while standardizing back-end operations.

● Demonstrated success in building and leading offshore teams, with a track record of developing scalable operational models.

● Experience working with third-party service providers and Build-Operate-Transfer (BoT) partners, with established connections in the offshoring and outsourcing industry.

● Proficiency in project management tools and software used for process design and implementation (e.g., Microsoft Project).

● Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence, educate, and persuade both internal and external stakeholders, including executive leadership and offshore teams.

● Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage complex offshoring projects and multiple stakeholders simultaneously.

● Analytical mindset with experience using data to monitor offshore progress, identify challenges, and drive continuous improvement.

Key Competencies:

● Leadership: Ability to lead HR initiatives and manage cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

● Project Management: Expertise in planning, executing, and managing HR projects, focusing on delivering results on time and within scope.

● M&A Integration: Experience in managing HR aspects of mergers and acquisitions, ensuring seamless transitions for employees and alignment of policies.

● Data Analytics: Proficient in using data to drive strategies and present actionable insights to leadership. Ability to use metrics to measure success or identify problem areas.
