Duties & Responsibilities

 

Customer Service/Giver Support

·        Provides an excellent giver experience through timely responses to requests and inquiries from givers, financial advisors and the ministries we serve.

·        Primarily manages cases, follows up on stock gifts, processes crucial forms, creates giver profiles and updates giver contact information in Salesforce.

·        Supports the team and Georgia office with other projects as requested and delivers timely follow-through on tasks.

·        Other duties as assigned

 

Requirements

 

Experience, Knowledge Base, & Competencies

·        A minimum of 2-4 years’ customer service experience is required, preferably in an environment that is customer focused

·        Experience with Salesforce CRM, outlook, word & excel.

·        Proven experience in writing clear and concise business correspondence, with strong skills in proofreading, grammar, spelling and punctuation.

·        Adept at responding to inquiries, tailoring communication style to different audiences.

·        Has a positive attitude and works well with other team members to create solutions.

·        Values excellence in products, processes, and organization; consistently striving to make things better, especially at a fine level of detail.

·        Takes initiative and ownership of the quality and timeliness of their work.

·        Demonstrated track record of working independently. 

·        Experience in maintaining organized records and timely follow-through.

 


 Work Environment

 

· Ability to work greater than an 8-hour day as needed.

· Ability to operate standard office equipment. Majority of time at a computer, monitor, keyboard and phone support.

· Ability to work in high transaction volume environments.

· Ability to work in a team environment, communicate with back-office teams, while flexible, adaptable, accurate, available and teachable.

 

Nature and Scope

 

· Reporting Relationship: Reports to the Georgia Director of Operations and Giver Services

· Employment Status: Temporary Q4 support; hourly position

· Work Schedule:

  • Initial schedule: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM and up to 40+ hours during peak periods
  • This position may be hybrid, however, during training the successful candidate will have to be in the office Monday through Friday.

· Work Environment: Office-based role with high volume of communication via email and phone.

· Location: Alpharetta office.
