Giver Support Services


 

This Christian ministry operates as a 501(c)3 nonprofit grant-making entity, providing inventive giving strategies, activating resources, and fostering biblical generosity within Christian individuals, advisors, churches, and charitable organizations.

 

Role Description

 

The Giver Support Specialist will provide transactional support for the Ga team and the givers they serve during the fourth quarter season. The GSS will report to the Director of Giver Services. This person should be comfortable in a high transactional volume environment and provide an excellent giver experience while solving problems.

 

The person who excels in this position will hold the utmost level of confidentiality and integrity with a Christ-centered servant’s heart, a strong prayer life and a “whatever it takes” attitude. This person must be able to manage multiple tasks while assisting the team with a variety of responsibilities.


Duties & Responsibilities

 

·        Customer Service/Giver Support (100%): Providing an excellent giver experience through timely responses to requests and inquiries from givers, advisors and the ministries we serve.

·        Primarily will be managing cases, following up on stock gifts, processing crucial forms, creating giver profiles and updating giver contact information in salesforce.

·        Support the team and Georgia office with other projects as requested and delivering timely follow-through on tasks.

 

Experience Requirements

·        Prior experience in customer service and client-facing roles.

·        Has a positive attitude and works well with other team members to create solutions.

·        Skilled in addressing inquiries.

·        Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.

·        Values excellence in products, processes, and organizations; consistently striving to make things better, especially at a fine level of detail.

·        Ability to write clear & concise business correspondence, tailoring communication style to different audiences.

·        Proven experience in drafting, editing and proofreading email and strong command of grammar, spelling and punctuation.

·        Experience in maintaining organized records and timely follow-through.

·        Experience with Salesforce CRM, outlook, word & excel.

 

 

Work Environment

·        Ability to work greater than an 8-hour day as needed.

·        Ability to operate standard office equipment. Majority of time at a computer, monitor, keyboard and phone support.

·        Ability to work in high transaction volume environments.

·        Ability to work in a team environment, communicates with back-office teams, flexible, adaptable, accurate, available and teachable.

 

 

Nature and Scope

 

·        Reporting Relationship: This position reports to the Georgia Director of Giver Services

·        Employment Status: Temp Q4 support. Hourly.

·        Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, in office. Additional hours may be required during the peak work periods.

·        Work Environment: In office position (high volume of communication via email and phone)

·        Location: Alpharetta, Ga
