An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a growing investment firm. As part of the Business Development team, this role will focus on raising the profile of the business and its range of tax-efficient investment solutions. The primary focus is developing and managing relationships with UK financial advisers.


Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with an Internal Business Development Partner to provide outstanding service and support to financial advisers (existing and prospective).
  • Jointly build and execute the business plan for the region in partnership with your internal counterpart.
  • Promote and raise funds for the firm’s range of tax-efficient investment offerings (including VCT, EIS, and IHT) through adviser meetings, training workshops, seminars, and other strategic initiatives.
  • Handle incoming adviser queries (via meetings, calls, or email) and ensure timely and accurate follow-up.
  • Represent the company at events, roadshows, and training sessions, acting as a brand ambassador.
  • Collect feedback from the adviser market to support product development and marketing strategy.
  • Work closely with investor services and marketing teams to ensure advisers receive the highest level of support.


Experience, Skills & Attributes Required

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in sales and marketing of investment products.
  • Proven track record of working with financial intermediaries, particularly IFAs, ideally within tax-efficient investments.
  • Strong client relationship management and interpersonal skills.
  • Consultative sales approach with high standards of professionalism.
  • Ability to grow and maintain a client base of financial advisers.
  • Customer-focused, motivated, and committed to delivering excellent service.
  • Strong academic background preferred.
  • Self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset.
  • Collaborative team player with a strong work ethic.
  • Proficient in using CRM systems, Excel, and PowerPoint.
