A well-established and growing specialist lender in the bridging and development finance market is looking to appoint an experienced Business Development Manager.
The business has a strong reputation for consistent delivery, pragmatic underwriting, and tailored funding solutions across bridging, refurbishment, and ground-up development loans. The team is commercial, responsive, and relationship-driven, with a clear focus on helping brokers and developers get deals completed efficiently.
The Role
You will be responsible for originating and managing relationships with brokers, intermediaries, and developers in your region. The position suits someone who understands the short-term property finance market and knows how to generate and convert quality lending opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with brokers, intermediaries, and property developers
- Identify and originate new lending opportunities across bridging, refurbishment, and development finance
- Present the lender’s proposition clearly and professionally
- Work closely with internal underwriting and credit teams to ensure smooth and timely deal execution
- Maintain an accurate pipeline and report on performance and market trends
- Represent the business at relevant industry events and meetings
About You
- Proven track record in bridging or development finance origination
- Strong existing network of brokers and intermediaries
- Commercially minded, with the ability to structure and negotiate viable deals
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working autonomously
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills
- Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel regularly
