Claims Administrator

Salary: Up to £45,000 (depending on experience)

Location: London (Hybrid – 3 days in the office, 2 from home)


About the Company

Our client is a respected and expanding insurance brokerage with a strong reputation in the London market. They pride themselves on exceptional client service, technical excellence, and a collaborative team culture. Due to continued growth, they are looking to appoint a Claims Administrator to support their busy claims department.


The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented and proactive insurance professional to join a dynamic team and play an integral part in managing the claims process from notification through to settlement.

Working closely with the claims handlers, brokers, and insurers, you will ensure all claims are processed efficiently, documentation is accurate, and clients receive a first-class service throughout.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support across the full claims lifecycle, from first notification through to resolution.
  • Log and track claims, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in internal systems.
  • Liaise with brokers, insurers, and clients to gather and update claims information.
  • Prepare and process claims documentation and correspondence.
  • Assist in managing claims payments, recoveries, and settlements.
  • Support the claims team in preparing reports and client updates.
  • Ensure all activity complies with company procedures, FCA regulations, and data protection standards.


About You

  • Previous experience in an insurance claims or administration role (essential).
  • Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Confident communicator, able to liaise effectively with clients and external partners.
  • Good knowledge of claims processes and insurance terminology.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable working with claims systems.
  • Team player with a proactive and professional approach.
