Business Development Manager – Tax-Efficient Investments

A leading provider of tax-efficient investment solutions is seeking a Business Development Manager to join its distribution team, covering the South East region. This is a field-based role focused on building and managing relationships with financial advisers and wealth managers to promote the firm's range of investment products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with financial advisers, IFA firms, and wealth managers across the region.
- Promote a suite of tax-efficient investment solutions including VCTs, EIS, and Business Relief offerings.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective territory management and adviser engagement.
- Support existing accounts while proactively identifying and onboarding new advisory relationships.
- Deliver product training, CPD-accredited presentations, and investment updates to adviser audiences.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams including compliance, marketing, and investment management to ensure consistent messaging and support.
- Keep up to date with market trends, regulatory changes, and adviser needs in the tax-efficient space.
Candidate Profile:
- Proven track record in intermediary sales, ideally within tax-efficient investments (VCT, EIS, BR).
- Existing relationships with advisers and networks in the South East region preferred.
- Strong understanding of the financial advice process and tax planning solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to build rapport and trust quickly.
- Highly motivated, self-sufficient, and target-driven.
- Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning (or progress toward) preferred but not essential.
