Junior Analyst

Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct financial research and analysis to support client recommendations
• Assist in the preparation of suitability reports and financial planning documentation
• Gather and interpret client information, including financial objectives and risk profiles
• Support advisers with portfolio analysis, cashflow modelling, and investment research
• Maintain accurate client records and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Liaise with providers, platforms, and internal stakeholders to obtain relevant information
• Assist in preparing client meeting packs and follow-up documentation
• Stay up to date with market trends, legislation, and financial products

Skills & Experience

• Diploma in Financial Planning (completed or working towards)
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability
• Professional communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
• Previous experience within financial services is advantageous but not essential
