Talent Acquisition Business Partner

I’m working on a Talent Acquisition Business Partner opportunity with Acushnet Europe, based in St Ives, Cambridgeshire.
The role is focused on much more than simply filling vacancies. You’ll act as the recruitment expert and trusted advisor to managers across the business, helping attract talent, build future pipelines and support the wider talent strategy.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing end-to-end recruitment across a variety of roles and departments
- Partnering with hiring managers on role requirements, hiring strategies and selection decisions
- Using recruitment and market insight to shape attraction and hiring approaches
- Delivering a strong candidate experience from initial contact through to onboarding
- Supporting the employer brand and inclusive recruitment practices
- Building talent pipelines through apprenticeships, graduate programmes and industry partnerships
- Bringing new ideas to talent attraction and sourcing
- Representing the business at careers fairs, networking events and recruitment initiatives
- Managing relationships with external recruitment agencies and suppliers
- Using Workday as the Applicant Tracking System
They’re ideally looking for someone with:
- Proven end-to-end recruitment experience across a variety of roles
- Previous in-house recruitment or Talent Acquisition experience
- Experience partnering with hiring managers and senior stakeholders
- Strong sourcing and talent attraction skills
- Good knowledge of UK recruitment best practice and employment legislation
- Experience using an ATS, with Workday desirable
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to manage multiple vacancies and priorities in a fast-paced environment
The role is predominantly site-based, so you’d need to live within a commutable distance of St Ives.
The recruitment process will start with an initial Microsoft Teams screening call during the first week of October, followed by two face-to-face interview stages at their site.
