The Law Society is seeking an exceptional individual to take on the newly created role of Deputy Board Chair. This is a rare opportunity to play a central role in a high-profile professional body, working closely with the Chair of Board, Amerdeep Clarke to guide the Society’s strategy, policy, and governance.


You will take responsibility for key delegated projects, support a culture of excellent governance, and help shape the future of legal services in England and Wales.


The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership experience at Board or senior management level, a proven track record in strategy, governance, risk, or financial oversight, and outstanding communication and relationship-building skills. Above all, you will have a deep commitment to the legal profession and to advancing the interests of the Law Society and its members.
