Hearing Dogs for Deaf People is on an exciting journey of transformation.
We are redefining how we support people with hearing loss, combining technology, personalised services, and community connection to create meaningful impact. Our mission is simple yet profound: to help people live well with hearing loss - and we are seeking a Chair who shares our passion for making that mission a reality.
Following a successful tenure, Christina O'Donovan-Rossa will be stepping down, presenting a unique opportunity to lead the charity into its next phase. As Chair, you will support a refreshed and effective Board alongside an inspiring CEO and dynamic Executive Leadership Team.
You will help set strategic direction, champion strong governance, and cultivate a culture of collaboration, innovation, and impact. Your role will be to inspire the Board, foster fresh ideas, and ensure the charity remains inclusive, ambitious, and fundable.
We are looking for someone deeply committed to the cause, able to build relationships, connect with diverse communities, and amplify the charity’s voice. Lived or shared experience of hearing loss or assistance dog services is particularly welcome, as is a strong commitment to creating a more inclusive society.
This is more than a leadership role. It is a chance to shape a future where everyone with hearing loss can thrive. If you are excited by the opportunity to drive innovation, make a tangible difference, and lead a motivated and experienced team, we would love to hear from you.
