Salary: c.£110k + attractive benefits
100x is a world-leading impact initiative based at the London School of Economics, with a mission to scale social innovations that can transform the lives of hundreds of millions of people. Partnering with LSE’s Marshall Institute and backed by a £55 million philanthropic gift, we support some of the world’s most promising social ventures across health, climate, inequality and more, combining research, capital and connections to accelerate their journey to scale.
In just two years, 100x has supported 35 ventures, selected from over 3,500 applications. Together, they have had a demonstrable impact on more than 150 million lives. By 2030, we aim to support over 100 ventures and improve the lives of 500 million people.
Now, we’re seeking a visionary Chief Insights Officer to found and lead a new insights function at the heart of our model. This is a rare opportunity to build something from the ground up: turning evidence from our growing portfolio into tools, lessons and strategies that shape the global conversation on scale and impact.
You will bring strategic clarity, deep sector knowledge and a commitment to rigorous, action-oriented learning. With a strong track record in research, impact strategy or insight leadership, you’ll understand how evidence can drive change in policy, philanthropy and funding. You’ll be comfortable working across academic and venture communities, and adept at translating research into practical frameworks, knowledge products and decision-making tools.
This is a senior leadership role with significant scope: helping to define how 100x, and the world, learns what it takes to scale social impact.
You’ll work closely with extraordinary social ventures, collaborate with leading academics at LSE, and shape a global movement for scalable impact.
If you thrive at the intersection of research, strategy and action, we’d love to hear from you.
