Director of Income Generation

We are seeking to appoint a new Director of Income Generation at Hearing Dogs for Deaf People to join at an exciting phase.

Hearing Dogs for Deaf People are passionate about transforming deaf people’s lives and using dogs to do that. By training hearing dogs to not only become life-changers, they also become loyal, loving companions that unlock confidence and reduce isolation for those with hearing loss. An estimated 1.2 million people in the UK have severe or profound deafness, and 1 in 5 people in the UK have hearing loss – that’s 12 million people.

You will work closely with a fantastic CEO, an exciting Executive Team and a supportive Board of Trustees, leading a newly created organisational strategy that will enable the charity to focus on its goals, and refresh the brand and personality for the future. You will lead and shape a new think tank to support your endeavours.

You’ll have a unique opportunity to put your expertise into action in an area that has huge potential, and to date has been underexploited.

As our new Director of Income Generation you will help support the team to build the brand through business development activities, corporate partnerships, trust and foundations, major donor and community engagement to increase financial and pro bono support for our mission.

As an experienced business development professional, you’ll bring energy and passion for creating a high performing, curious and inclusive workplace culture. You’ll play a significant role in driving organisational transformation, helping to shape and implement strategies, and to ensure the attraction, development, and retention of top talent.
